FOOTBALL SEASON UP AND RUNNING

SEASON 2019 to 2020.      We have entered twelve teams in the Huddersfield and District Junior Football League.   We start from Under 8’s, 9s, 10s, 11s x 2, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s a new Under 16s and ever present 17s in (DIVISION 1) we feel very proud to have development our Deighton Juniors Football Club boasting 223 registered players..

 

We also have loads of new recruits for our Saturday Football Development Club this year, with many starting as young as 5!!! We are sincerely grateful to all our Coaches and Parents for all the hard work they put in, not only coaching on Saturdays but also taking the teams and supervising them when they play either on Saturdays or Sundays.  Why not come along and watch them play!!!

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET INVOLVED, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITIES TO ASSIST WITH COACHING, AND GAIN QUALIFICATIONS..!!

OPEN AGE – This season 2019/20 will be our 4th Season playing in The Huddersfield & District Football League. We are proud to boast 80% of our player are a product of our Deighton Junior or live in the HD2 post code.

We have again registered 2 teams to play in Division 3 and Division 2 Reserves. The pathway from Junior level right through to Open Age again illustrates our positive Community Development work. Our juniors will continue to be encouraged and inspired at playing at senior level in the coming years. This fits in with our policy of encouraging members of our Community, not only to keep fit, but to experience the satisfaction that comes from participating in Sport.

COME ALONG AND SUPPORT OUR JUNIORS, ON SATURDAY & SUNDAY MORNINGS – AT THE DEIGHTON ARENA SPORTS COMPLEX, AND OUR OPEN AGE TEAMS AT NORTHFIELD HALL SATURDAY AFTERNOONS.
