Vision, Mission & Values

Our Vision

“To be the sports provider of choice within a 1½ mile radius of the Deighton Sports Arena ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate in, and benefit from, sport and physical activity whether it be for fun, for health, to learn, to enjoy the natural environment, or to excel.”

Our Mission

We will work to create more enjoyable activities and opportunities for people of all ages, and especially young people, to participate in sport and physical activity by maintaining, and improving, the provision of sport and physical activity through a mixture of direct provision, acting as an enabler, working in partnership with relevant organisations and as a co-ordinator – maximising all available resources.

Our Values

Opportunity and Inclusion

We believe in enabling all individuals to achieve their full potential and we will strive to remove barriers and create opportunities that will help fulfill personal potential no matter at what level people are participating or what background or circumstances they come from.

Respect

We believe that people achieve their best when their differences are recognised and valued and they are treated with respect.

Excellence

We believe in setting best practice at all times, ensuring value for money and delivering services that are community focused through the pursuit of excellence in all that we do.

Working together

We believe that communicating and engaging with individuals, communities and partners is key to all that we do.

Social responsibility

We believe that as a community organisation we have a duty to make a positive difference to the quality of life of individuals and groups within our local communities.

Summary

Our Vision, Mission and Values will be delivered both directly by the Deighton Into Sport Project and in partnership with other public, private and voluntary & community sector providers. Central to this is the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential in sport and physical activity with the only constraints being interest and ability.
